Thomas McMahon Superintendent, is a highly knowledgeable and experienced professional, who worked as an Assistant Superintendent at Toms River Regional School District from December 1998 to JANUARY 2000. He was responsible for the establishment of various technology learning centers and departments throughout the district. Presently, he is serving as a business administrator at Barnegat Township School District, which is a five school k-12 district. He has skillfully drafted and lobbied for new incentive aid bill FOR NJ school districts.
A competent professional, Thomas McMahon Superintendent worked hard to create a pre-K- 12 school district from a K-8 school district. He focused on the implementation of a new curriculum and incorporated numerous offices in the district. Besides, he hired and trained staff for implementing new technologies across the district. Thomas C McMahon Superintendent initiated new curriculum programs including Everyday Math, Instrumental music, Kindergarten Plus, Study Island, Inclusion programs, Behavioral disabilities, SAT Prep and many others. All these programs became highly popular among parents and key stake holders, as these had a positive impact on everyone. Apart from this, he negotiated with many government officials, parents, Board of Education members and educational stakeholders in order to raise SCHOOL aid to the Toms River and Barnegat school districts.
Thomas C McMahon Superintendent has been honored multiple times, by several organizations. He won the Sallie Mae Award (Top 100 First Year Teachers in the United States) for his contributions in the field of education. He was appointed as a secretary for NJAM (iddle) L (evel) E (ducators) Executive Committee and was also hired as a workshop presenter for NJ State Department of Education. As an active member, Thomas is associated with NJASBO, NMSA, ASCD and PSA.
Thomas McMahon Superintendent FURTHERED HIS EDUCATION AT some prestigious educational institutes in the country. He earned his doctorate degree from Rutgers University located in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Prior to this, he completed his Master’s degree at Jersey City State College. Moreover, he received his Bachelor’s degree from Monmouth University, which is one of the eminent universities of the country. He has been always been an outstanding student and won A Garden State Scholarship and IS A MEMBER IN 5 National Honor Societies. In addition to this, he also received George F. Link Business Scholarship as a result of his hard work and strong determination.
