Toms River Regional School District is a public school district situated in the coastal area of Toms River, in Ocean County, New Jersey, along the Jersey Shore. It aims at offering students a complete, caring educational experience as defined by the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards. The district strives to nurture the unique talent of every individual. It helps students become socially responsible persons who respect and value diversity. It encompasses the boroughs of Pine Beach (325 students), Beachwood (2, 202 students), South Toms River (830 students), and Toms River Township (14, 9191 students). It has 3 high schools namely Toms River High School East, Toms River High School North and Toms River High School South, in addition to 3 middle schools: Toms River Intermediate School South, Toms River Intermediate School North and Toms River Intermediate School East. Additionally, Toms River Regional School District also has a partnership health center that offers a wide range of services including primate care, urgent care, physical therapy, blood pressure checks, patient education for various chronic diseases, medications and injections.
